Obolon launches production of pioneering Zhyvchyk noncarbonated beverage
At the end of April, Obolon expanded the Zhyvchyk™ product line by starting the production of the pioneering beverage Zhyvchyk noncarbonated with apple juice. This move is a response to the latest trends on the world soft drink market, where still (noncarbonated) beverages enjoy great popularity.
Zhyvchyk noncarbonated is a non-alcoholic beverage with a nice apple flavor and essence of Echinacea purpurea. The content of pure apple juice is 10%, the same as in the carbonated version of Zhyvchyk. In fact, the absence of carbon dioxide makes Zhyvchyk noncarbonated a light juice.
Pavlo Shenchuk, Head of the Beverage Marketing Department, Obolon CJSC: ‘Zhyvchyk noncarbonated has been specially created to expand the choice of our consumers and to satisfy the demand for noncarbonated juice beverages of the highest quality. I’m confident that this pioneering item in the Zhyvchyk trademark line will reinforce the brand's positions on the soft drink market’.
The new product is manufactured at the Krasylivske Subsidiary of Obolon CJSC in Khmelnitsky Region. The beverage is available in 3 types of containers – 0.5l, 1l and 2l. Initial product batches are all part of the special campaign ‘ABC Book from Zhyvchyk’ that continues from May 1st till August 31st, 2010.
