How is non-alcoholic beer produced?

There are two main methods of producing non-alcoholic beer:

  • production of beer with subsequent recovery of alcohol
  • interruption of the fermentation process during beer production at the low alcohol content stage.

The technique of alcohol recovery from finished fermented beer by special filters is used at Obolon’s Kyiv brewery. The advantage of this technique is production of beer with characteristics as close as possible to regular beer, stable alcohol content and taste.
