Obolon is among the most honoured employers of Ukraine

At the end of January, the results of ‘The Most Honored Employers of Ukraine 2010’ research which was conducted by Reputation Capital and HeadHunter, were announced. According to the research, Obolon took fifth place among those Ukrainian companies with the best employer reputation.

Obolon Corporation took 13th place in the overall rating among companies with the best employer reputation (including international companies operating in Ukraine). Obolon was the only brewing corporation that entered the top list of this rating, i.e. it was positively assessed by potential employees.

Rating of the five most honoured employers of Ukraine in 2010 (among companies with Ukrainian capital) is as follows:
1. SKM
2. Metinvest
3. Roshen
4. Kyivstar
5. Obolon

Sergiy Bloschanevych, Chairman of the Council of Obolon JSC and Director for Human Resources and Utilities stated: ‘Obolon regards its employees with pride and great value. The Company’s activity is aimed at increasing the professional skills of employees, improving their working conditions, safety operations, and securing their social protection. Without a doubt, economic vicissitudes have had a negative impact on the beer industry and this, unfortunately, forced us to take measures to optimize human resources. Regardless of the above, Obolon is looking to the future with optimism’.

‘It is the systematic fulfillment of the obligations towards its employees that builds Obolon’s high reputation as an employer’, said Sergiy Bloshchanevych. Our corporation operates a collective bargaining agreement which balances the interests of both production and employees. In addition, corporate culture standards that have been established at Obolon over the past years, ensure a well-balanced development of the team and of the individual employee. We are, of course, pleased that potential employees gave us such a high estimation’.
